1st December – Pumpkin Spice Chutney
A chunky pumpkin chutney, with the classic spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and clove.
Serve with soft cheeses, ham or make a perfectly autumnal sandwich.
Ingredients: Pumpkin (44%), Sugar, Onion, Cider vinegar, Apple, Ginger, Garlic, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Allspice, Salt, Pepper
2nd December - Damson Gin Chutney
A tart damson chutney with an added dash of dry gin.
The sweet and sour chutney is great with a strong cheddar or drizzled on a soft goats like a chevre.
Ingredients: Damsons (21%), Sugar, Wine vinegar, Onion, Apple, Malt vinegar (BARLEY), Gin (5%), Sultanas, Raisins, Salt, Garlic, Cinnamon, Ginger, Allspice, Clove
3rd December - Pineapple & Chilli Chutney
Tangy pineapple chutney packed with warming ginger and garlic, and flecks of red chilli.
Perfect for a fish taco and any Mexican dish, or with poppadoms and curry.
Ingredients: Pineapple (72%), Sugar, White Wine Vinegar, Ginger, Chilli (2%), Garlic
4th December - Cep Salt
Dehydrated cep (a.k.a. porcini or penny bun) mushrooms, mixed with flaky sea salt
Add an umami punch to any dish. Make the best mushroom risotto, or add to ragus, broths, and soups.
Ingredients: Salt, Cep (porcini) mushrooms
5th December - Red Onion Chutney
A classic chutney. We cook it low and slow for 6 hours, bringing out the rich onion-y flavour, and add a hint of balsamic, mustard, and chilli.
A versatile allrounder, at home on any cheeseboard. But also great in a sausage sarnie, or with an omelette.
Ingredients: Red Onion (71%), Sugar, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, MUSTARD (Sulphites), Garlic, Salt, Paprika, Chilli
6th December - Quince Paste
Also known as membrillo, a set quince paste flavoured with lemon and vanilla.
A classic pairing for Manchego, but works with most cheeses, or on its own on a cracker.
Ingredients: Quince (67%), sugar, lemon, vanilla
7th December - Red Pepper & Chilli Jam
A sweet, sharp, and spicy condiment with a beautiful ruby colour
Serve with roast and grilled meats or cooked breakfasts.
Ingredients: Sugar (48%), Red Pepper (22%), White wine vinegar, Liquid pectin, Chillies (3%)
8th December – Sweet Piccalilli
Mixed pickled veg, flavoured with mustard and turmeric, sweetened with mango and apple.
A must for a ploughman’s lunch or a Christmas cheeseboard.
Ingredients: White Wine Vinegar, Shallots, Broccoli, Mango, Cauliflower, Fennel, Green Beans, Runner Beans, Apples, Sea Salt, Red Onion, Sugar, Chilli, Garlic, Corn flour, MUSTARD OIL, MUSTARD SEED, Cumin, Turmeric, MUSTARD POWDER, Oregano, Nutmeg, Bay Leaf
9th December - Mango Chutney
A classic, using dehydrated mango, so it really tastes of the fruit.
No Indian feast would be complete without it! Or try glazing grilled meats, making coronation chicken, or putting a twist on a leftover turkey sandwich.
Ingredients: Mango (25%), Onion, Sugar, Apple, Wine Vinegar, Orange, Garlic, Ginger, Chilli, MUSTARD SEED, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Nigella Seed, Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, Pepper, Salt
10th December - Lemon Zest Salt
A mix of dehydrated lemon zest and flaky sea salt
Great for seasoning white fish or adding to salad dressings. Or line the rim of a cocktail glass!
Ingredients: Salt, lemon zest
11th December - Rhubarb & Date Chutney
An astringent rhubarb chutney, tempered with the deep sweetness of dates.
Great with softer cheeses or a ham sandwich.
Ingredients: Rhubarb (25%), Red Onion, Sugar, Apple, Wine Vinegar, Dates (8%), Raisins, Ginger, Salt, MUSTARD SEED, Curry Powder
12th December – Sharp Lime Pickle
Lime Pickle that actually tastes of lime! We ferment our limes for 2-3 months to deliver a really punchy flavour.
Another classic addition to curry night. Or mix with mayo for a zingy spread for your sandwich.
Ingredients: Lime (84%), Salt, Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Ginger, Cumin, Coriander, Paprika, Garlic, MUSTARD SEED
13th December - Mojito Marmalade
A taste of Cuba at breakfast. A lime marmalade with rum and mint to mirror the classic cocktail.
Serve with toast and butter! Or drizzle over ice cream or a New York cheesecake.
Ingredients: Sugar, Lime, Rum, Lemon, Mint
14th December - Bloody Mary Relish
Our award winning roast tomato relish with vodka, celery, and everything else you’d expect in a Bloody Mary.
Makes a banging bacon sarnie, a great burger, or a perfect dip for chips.
Ingredients: Tomato, Onion, Bell Pepper, Red Wine Vinegar, CELERY, Sugar, Vodka, Chilli, Garlic, Lemon, Tamarind Paste, Tamari (SOY), CELERY SALT, Bay
15th December - Cumin Salt
A classic Moroccan condiment, used for finishing dishes and at-table seasoning.
Sprinkle over hummus, with bread and oil, or any dishes that need a pinch of warmth and depth.
Ingredients: Salt, CELERY SALT, Cumin, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder
16th December - Fig & Tamarind Chutney
A brand new flavour for this year’s advent calendar. Sticky sweet figs with a delicious tart tang of tamarind.
Perfect with brie, camembert, and soft cheeses.
Ingredients: Fig (58%), Onion, Sugar, Cider vinegar, Tamarind (3%), Raisins, Ginger, Garlic, Salt
17th December - Pickled Candy Cane Beetroot
Beautiful ringed candy cane beetroot in a light sweet pickle.
Add to sandwiches, burgers, and cheese on toast, or add to cheeseboards alongside charcuterie.
Ingredients: Beetroot, Vinegar, Sugar, Salt, Cinnamon, Coriander, Pepper, Cloves, Bay leaf
18th December - Spiced Apricot & Maple Chutney
Another brand new flavour. Moroccan spices, sticky and apricot, and moreish maple syrup.
Perfect with cheese and charcuterie, but also great with a tagine, meatballs, and cous cous.
Ingredients: Apricot (21%), Apple. Cider Vinegar, Tomato, Onion, Sugar, Maple Syrup (5%), Sultanas, Orange, Lemon, Cayenne, Cinamon, Ginger
19th December - Plum & Apple Chutney
A sweet chutney with wedges of whole plum.
Great with pork or left over turkey. Or piled decadently on cheese.
Ingredients: Plum (28%), Apple (28%), Onion, Cider Vinegar, Sugar, Ginger, Garlic, Salt, Cinnamon, Cumin, Star Anise
20th December - Za'atar
A classic middle eastern spice blend.
Add to chicken and chickpea dishes, sprinkle over hummus, or enjoy with bread and oil.
Ingredients: SESAME SEEDS, Cumin Coriander, Sumac, Salt, Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme
21st December – Spicy Peach & Whiskey Chutney
A smokey, spicy, sweet chutney with an added kick.
Perfect with softer cheeses, ham, or as a salsa.
Ingredients: Peach (41%), Onion, Cider Vinegar, Sugar, Raisins, Whiskey (5%), Sultana, Ginger, Chilli, Cinnamon, Olive Oil, Cloves
22nd December - Paradise Jelly
A quince jelly with a beautiful red sheen from added cranberries.
Perfect with manchego, or in place of cranberry sauce.
Ingredients: Quince, Apple, Sugar, Cranberry, Vanilla
23rd December – Blackberry & Port Chutney
An indulgent, sweet, and rich chutney.
Great in a turkey and stuffing sarnie or with a baked camembert.
Ingredients: Blackberries (46%), Wine vinegar, Sugar, Onion, Apple, Port (4%), MUSTARD SEEDS, Cinnamon, Ginger, Salt
24th December – Cranberry & Apple Chutney
A classic apple chutney with beautiful whole cranberries.
A Christmas classic. Perfect for your turkey and the cheeseboard afterwards.
